|
|
| I am trying to install an amp in my car. I am wondering where i can poke the wire through the firewall from the battery to my amp. I notice about an inch or two to the drivers side and down a bit from the steering column there is a 2 inch (about) rubber piece that looks like it covers a hole. from the engine bay, not interior of the car. This is my first time installing one and any help would be appreciated. |

Just about anywhere you can poke it through the firewall is ok, as long as you can keep the weather out and it doesn't interfere with your pedals. Be sure to fuse the power wire as close to the battery as possible, this will eliminate a chance of fire if the wire shorts to ground. Have fun with the install. If interested, I may have a box for the well with woofers (2 JL 10W6) installed as I'm redesigning the well area of my 92 RS in the next couple of months. _________________ 92 Camaro
