sorry guys i know its not an f-body but theres so much collective car knowledge in this place i figure you guys could give me some ideas this is on my 87 supra its a 3.0 DOHC L6 with mpfi
ok so heres whats going on anyone who can offer help thank you, the car starts and drives fine, under hard acceleration is seems to hesitate a little throughout the rpm band,
it lopes mildly at an idle sometimes its not noticeable and other times the diference can go up to 75 rpm back and forth,
also when the fast idle is on it seems almost as if it has a missfire now im sure that has soemthign to do wiht the loping,
also the car is only getting 20mpg in mixed driving _________________ Cadillac of Bellevue

Throwing a code?
If not it could be a lot of things. Vacuum leak and bad spark come to mind first.
BTW, I'd love for 20mpg mixed, my Ford is hitting the bottle hard... goddamn 14mpg hard city driving.
*Edit: If it's a dist. car, check your timing too. So much free junk you can try before you start digging very far. |
