Well i got the car running and put a little over $200 into it. Brand new spark plugs, distributer cap and rotar, new brake, reverse and lisence plate lights, brand new fuel pump, fuel filter and about 3/4 tank of gas ;(.
Just the other day i blew the motor so thats gonna need to be replaced, the person who owned it before me jerry rigged the fan so you have to manually turn it on..i didnt pay attention to the heat and was going about 90 and lost power and car wouldent turn over after sitting with the fan on for about 30mins. Next day got it running with a loud engine knock.
Great project car. Has OK paint but could use better, tires have about 80% tread left. Needs new backseat, t-tops dont seem to leak? havent payed much attention.

Not trying to be an ass, but I gotta ask.
You paid $300 for it,
put $200 in it getting it running,
then blew it up,
and are now asking $600?
