| On the earlier hatches with the 3d brake light up above. Are there holes in the glass for the light? Hows that work? I'm thinking I've got to find an 87 or later glass. |

| You could always just ditch the 3rd light. My '85 didn't have the 3rd light. I doubt anyone is really going to be the wiser. |

Brandon,
There ARE holes in the glass......I"m plugging mine in the same manner tony did the ones on his GTA...1986 is the ONLY year you don't want a hatch from...85's had no 3rd light, and 87+ was in the spoiler. _________________

Was just looking at an 86 bird.. driver.. was thinking of pickin it up for parts. That way I'd have everything I needed. Part out the rest.
Tony, how did you plug yours? I don't remember seeing it. Can you take some pics. |

well, bob did it actualiy. but all he did was get a set of bolts that hold the hinge to the glass and put about a half inch orf washers behind it and then the bolts. chris re-used the brake light bolts which also works. only hting is the brake light bolts look a little different.
chris wanted a picture too, i guess i actualy aught to just get out there and take one. |
