88tbi to 91 S/D

Wiring, …RRRRRRRRR

Well to get this thing to work right, gages, wipers, lights and so forth, has been a pain because the 91 harness is a bit different than the 88 we had.
So we were thinking of doing some re-wiring on the bulkhead connectors.
The ones we have are filled with that hard grease for a water tight seal. We can't realy get them clean enough to see what the heck is in there.
Anybody ever cleaned these???how did you do it?
So I thought we would just rewire and bingo we would get everything to work. the car runs ok, but there are allot of issues with wipers dash lights volt meter and stuff.

Where can I buy new bulkhead connectors, both sides as well as the little connectors that slip in these?
Thanks
Scott

I clean mine out with brake clean spray solvent. It desolves it really well.

Don't know where you can find one other than a junkyard.

Scott, spray them out with electrical contack cleaner, then blow them out with compressed air. Some of the brake cleaners will flat eat plastic.
