Thanks to iansane, rsfreak, and steve for coming out today to help diagnose that the flywheel on my 98 Camaro is toast. Good times had by all!

I don't know about "good times", but it sure was cold!!! Shocked

Thankfully Ian was doing most of the work! Very Happy

Yeah, well, what are crewbies for?!

Although later Steve brought up the idea that the crank itself might be broken which I doubt severely. I still think it's just the flywheel. :crossesfingers:

No, but Steve did throw a few sockets at Ian's head! Very Happy

Ian, I don't think the crank is broken, however I am mistified by the way the flywheel turns so 'smoothly', not like it has broken around the 'hub' for lack of a better term. Confused
