Holy sh**, dude.
Was that the only damage to you or the car, or is it worse than that? |

He shizzle in my back seat.
I am NOT happy.
I'll just repost the little story I wrote up about the incident.
To start off simply, I was tired. When you're tired and driving, bad things happen. Trust me. Although this kind of crazy stuff only seems to happen to me. Over and over again.
I'm sure most of you aren't familiar with the exact roads, but let's just say the road crests a hill, dives down, sweeps to the right hard and then angles back up another hill. Basically a bad ass corner to punch the go pedal entering the corner and grip the steering wheel until your knuckles drip white.
I was just going through the corner, entering it apprehensively. Caressing the accelerator, she wanted more. I gave it to her. Slamming the gas into the carpet, I barrelled through the apex and swung wide. Thats when my twin beams of lunacy illuminated him. A young buck. Just barely two horns poking from atop his crown. He stopped, studered and made his move. I was in the opposite lane, hoping he wouldn't change his mind. That bastard did. With a thumpy lurch he dove toward the ditch, right in front of my car.
Shat. The impact was sudden. No cracking, no glass breaking, just a thud and groaning. Any typical car would have tossed him to the pavement and been on their way. My luck is different. As bambi rolled over my hood, imploding as he went, he changed positions. It's almost like he was planning something. Uh oh. My windshield stayed intact. He rolls over that and into mid air above my head. The stars and their brilliant twinkling beauty are blotted out by bloodly, matted hair. This is were bambi extracts his revenge. Position right above my noggin he juts out his now lifeless limb and kicks my square in the back of the head.
Did that just happen? He kicked me. The MFer kicked me. I do have to respect his last wish.
I skid to a halt and survey the sounds. I hear no grinding, no screetching, no pheonix coughing into death. Alright, the car still runs. This is good.
I pull back around and shine my remaining headlight at bambi. He's not moving. I almost feel bad for him. A thin trail of blood trickles down into the gravel. So very sad.
I reach into my backseat to grab my flashlight and *squish*. What the?! He shat in my backseat.
That can't be true. Yes. He shat in my backseat after striking out his limp limb for one final blow. You bastard, bambi. I hate you.
I hate you.

| You know, I feel bad for you, but the deer kicking YOU, and crapping in your backseat, is kind of funny. |

Like I said, this crap only happens to me. It was like his last effort to say, 'piss off, human!'
I'm not even sure what to think. I laughed, I honestly did.
I now have a welt on the back of my head.

Yes, I second what dewey said. Excellent story though, well worded and damn funny.
We hit a young deer in my dad's 56 Del Rey. Bumper 1 Deer 0. Nothing like old heavy over built steel.
So this may sound completely dumb, but the deer shat through your open t tops then? That is amazing. _________________

Great storytelling of a tragic sad event, although pics of the back seat scat would have soothed my morbid curiosity. And the hoove upside the end, thats too much. I think you are very lucky as you may know, the ending could have been very different. Sorry about the car, but the fact you were able to laugh at the irony of this event helps. I still have Crusader's hood from his parts car, its primered and ready to go, it was supposed to go with the new owner of my HO T/A, let me know if you need one. Heck he never came and got the Recaros either. _________________

It's a 'vert that almost has no top. I NEVER have the top up, only if it's pouring and then even not for long.
That scat smelled so bad I couldn't even imagine to take a picture of it. It'd break my my nose. I'm surprised I didn't smell it before I grabbed it.
85, I may take you up on that hood thing... Depends on what the bodyshop wants to do. I'm heading over there right now. |

| Damn dude. That's insane. No pun intended. Can you salvage any of the interior, or is that black leather pretty much just deer shizzle now? |

| The interior is really good actually. I'm amazed. It wasn't like a splatter painting 4 year old as much as it was a skiled archery finalist. It was just a neat little pile, right on top of my flashlight. Right on the handle. |

3k so far from Pacific Motors in Tacoma. And that's not counting anything under hood. Which, most likely the core support is tweaked a bit. It's only going up. Yikes.
I just hope they don't total it.
I mean, I'd buy it back either way because I'm going to die in this car. But that means paperwork and crap, and I don't like paperwork.
I think the windshield and frame may be bent backwards a bit. That may be the only reason he didn't go through the windshield. On a hardtop car he probably would've. The glass and apillars probably bent back far enough to let him slide off. |
