Hi, I've been a lurker here for a while, and I figured maybe you guys could help me when I need help, and maybe I could help you out sometime. Anyway, I bought my first car, my Camaro, just a few months ago, and I've liked it more and more ever since I got it, despite it's problems. Lost an alternator, heater core, waterpump, and dash lights within the first month. Now its starting to run better, and everything I do to it makes it better.
Well, enough talkin'. On to the pics!
One of the few members with a V6. That's me. A few free mods, mostly stock.
Got a '85 Chevy Truck with a built 355 and TH350 in the family, as well as a '78 Vette with a 350 and 4-speed.
Looking forward to being a member of the community! |

Welcome to the Crew !
Thanks for posting up. Is your screen name your actual name?
That is a clean looking Camaro and we have been seeing more and more V6 cars lately - no problem with that. Hang out, have fun and keep an eye out for gatherings so you can meet up with people. We had a great gathering up in the Seattle area in July. Sometimes local folks will decide to have a mini-meet or dinner gathering and such just to hang out.

Thanks for the greets! Nope, my name isn't Alphius. That would be a weird name. It's actually Gabe, I've just been using Alphius as a screen name for forever, so it's easy to remember. |

What he said. Glad to see another V6 owner. What year is that - 86? I have a 92 V6 for my daily driver, but I just bought an 89 V8 car to play with It needs some work, but seems to be coming along pretty good.
Anyway, welcome aboard, any questions, comments, ideas - post up, there's almost always someone who can help.

It's an 87. The lack of a wing that year was the option that gave it the top-mounted third-brake light (usually 86 only). It's got the original 2.8, a T-5 (I wouldn't buy one without a stick,) and it runs really smooth and mostly trouble-free. It's in remarkably good condition body and interior wise, with no rust, straight body (small dings) and mostly great interior. Only problem is the seats. I'm looking for some good 4th gen seats, or maybe a seat recovering kit, cause my driver's is ripped.
I'm glad to not be a lurker anymore. |

Just bought some 4th gen seats for my 89 from a crewbie, grassrootsgm. Pretty good shape, too. He has a new site up and running and a store in Tacoma (still moving to Tacoma from his home garage). http://www.grassrootsgm.com/ Give him a try, he may have more. 3 or 4 years ago, I had the seats and interior of my 92 redone at an upholstery shop near my house - grand total about $1800 for everything except the carpet.

Nice to see another blue car!
BTW, Love the Vette!!! I have always had a thing for the C3's. Prettiest fenders ever put on a car. period. (well, ok, 34 fords might win that award, or some of the late 30's coach build cars.) |

That would be dad's Vette and his truck. Notice I didn't say they were mine, just said they were in the family. Yeah, my mom does like them quite a bit!
It's OK, I wasn't very clear. We also have a '55 Chevy that's not quite restored all the way yet. Just needs paint and some putting back together! |
