Up for sale is 1983 Trans Am project car. Included with the sale is almost EVERYTHING you'll need to get this thing running.
Exterior
Very sexy black on gold paint, the body is very straight especially for the year. There are a couple quarter size dents here and there. No rust anywhere! The paint is ok, better then most cars that 23 years old. Car is a hard top and perfect for the person that wants to build a bracket race car.
Wheels
It will come with two sets of wheels. One set is Iroc rims, three good tires and one has a slit in the side. The second is some cheapy rims and tires. Tires are worn but good for a couple more trips down the 1320. I believe the cheap set looks very good on the car, makes it have more a knight rider look to it. Either way you get both sets.
Interior
Driver seat has tears in it passenger seat is in good shape. Both are power seats. Car has power door looks and windows. Most the interior has been removed to save weight. The back seat cushions are there but the backing is not. The AC and heating has been removed. There are custom gauge pods where the air vents used to be in the center and driver side of the dash. I am half way through making new door panels, all that is left is to stretch the vinyl over them and install.
Motor\tranny
The motor is a 70's Chevy 350. It was previously in a 1980 Malibu running 13.80s with massive traction issues. The motor only has around 10K miles on it. It has Vortec heads, crane cam, performer 2 intake, Edelbrock 650 carb and some other goodies. The tranny is a turbo 350 with a stage two shift kit in it. It was built by Jamie Foxx in Portland Ore.
Extra's
I can't even remember half the stuff this thing will be coming with, I spent around $1000 in new parts from Jegs and Summit that are just sitting in the truck of the car. Hughes streetmaster torque converter, changeover kit for the tranny, polyurethane bushing, motor mounts. Just tons of stuff. I also have some V6 springs, extra set of rear control arms so you can "box" them.
The motor and tranny are out of the car now, basically all you'll need to do is install the bushings, put the motor and tranny in, and your set. The car has a lost title but I have all the paper work to get it registered. If you have any questions or want to setup a time to see it, email me and I'll get back usually within a couple hours. I'm getting rid of it because I have to many projects going right now. I just purchased my first motorcycle and i have to peice that together, and I'd like to have my garage back for it. I'm willing to take offers. |

those are base camaro wheels not iroc wheels. irocs look like this:
yours are for base model camaros, RS camaros, and Z28s i think. i have always refered to them as z28 wheels and no one ever corrects me... |
