| so i finally got my car back fromt he shop ( i think i cried a little on the ride home i was so happy). Anyways nighttime came so i flip on ym headlights and the Right turnsignal light stays on (doesnt flash outside) And the right hand turn signal when i turn it on it stays solid. the left hand one works fine, and while i ahev the hazards on they both blink. Anyways have any idea with why the signal stays solid and why if i have my lights on the light in the dash stays Green (even while the turn signal is off). Thanks for all the help in advance again for the bajillionth time. (thats how fancy i am i use words liek ba-jillion) |

| Check all your bulbs. A single bad bulb will cause the rest to be on solid like that. Don't know about the dash indicator staying on all the time, that's kinda wierd. But I'd focus on all the bulbs first. |

Possibly a bad relay or a shorted out bulb. He says the directional is always on, even when the turn signal is off.
Mine did a similar thing a couple of weeks ago. I installed LED lighting all around, so a load resistor is needed on the front corners for the side markers to work properly. Had some bare wire exposed and it shorted to the framwork up front. Every time it touched metal, the directional would turn on. Drove me nuts for a couple of days until I found it. |

Usually I've found that that will kill all the lights, however it's worth checking. |

it should be the blinker can followed by a bad main bulb. The blinker can is upstream of the bulbs, and requires the bulbs load to blink it off. SO if there's not enough load, it won't blink. Its such a simple system but it can cause all sorts of weirdness.
On a side note, I rewired my fronts so that the front markers are on "blink" all the time so they're bright! I then wired them up to blink off to indicate. This required a relay, which messes up the load, so I made an electronic blinker controller with variable blinker rates. No load resistors for me! I'm a dork. hehe. |
