Stock injectors, which seem to be more than enough for now. I'm not sure of their duty cycle at WOT but it's definatley rich!

Yeah, I think steve is more of an air restriction that anything. Sticking hands, arms, ass-es out windows/tops. Laughing

When I took my ex to Battle Ground a few months ago we managed 26 with the top up doing ~80mph the whole way.

Tony, you just want to race everyone--don't you?!

by perhaps a hundred punds... my 6 weighs 3,300 LBS as of a week ago. it's probably at 3,290 now. also if you are meaning that a 3.1 weighs more then a 2.8 i think any difference is neglageable. also i think camaros typically run around 100LBS lighter then firebirds if they are matched option for option. or is that the other way around?

of course Al has added around 200 LBS of blingin wheel, antenna, and kick ass lights/electronics to his. but an argument could be made that he is not attempting to make his car light or fast, he is attempting to make it awsome. mission acomplished. awsomeness achieved. Smile

Now it's more like a luxury cruiser. Looks hot and has tons of cool gadgets and creature comforts. Laughing

I wasn't talking about engine weight. You're right, Al's car has A/C, stereo, ect. Yours is pretty bare-bones. Plus, don't you have less ground effects on that thing?

no GFX. no AC, no AIR injection, no speakers, no deck, aluminum brake drums (7LBS weight savings), only 1 rear seat instead of two, manual windows and door locks, 15" wheels (as oposed to 17s), no cruise control, no fog lamps, no alarms, no 2nd battery (Al has two), and other random weight savings (brackets and crap)... i think that is it. wow, my car is that much ligher and he is STILL getting better mialage.

also firebird have better aerodynamics from the factory as well (not with the tops off....).

Plus Al has an auto, doesn't he? That's added weight.

You guys are actually doing pretty good. I get around 15-16mpg with my L98, but that's all around town, and I drive it HARD. So I could be doing much worse. Very Happy

Cool. Assuming you're both equal drivers though, I'd still take Tony.

Picking on V6's with your 350?

Laughing

We got to get everybody together in Portland for a night at the drags, then we could run against each other. You know, 350 vs 350. Razz

Except for Ian, Al, and Brandon. Laughing

Tony, you should bring up the GTA sometime. It should be pretty closely matched to my IROC. I'd have a benifit on the bottom end because of the gears, assuming I could get traction of course. Wink
