Very Happy Here is the pictures... Dont mind the dirt right at the moment... I drive daily to longview and today was one of those wet rainy get plastered by muddy log truck afterspray days... makes me not want to drive the car when its wet out... anyways its a pretty much stock 96 z28. It is pretty much fully loaded, K&N intake, Aftermarket Chrome 16" wheels, 6 speed manual, uhhh really not a whole lot to day upgrade wise... I'd really like to get an exhaust setup... but not spend a fortune but something that sounds good any recommendations?.....
J

Laughing so hard it hurts

Anyway.... how much money do you not want to spend on a muffler, and what kind of sound are you going for?

I was trying to think of an appropriate line for my posts and thats what came to mind haha... I was torn between...
"The more you run over a cat, the flatter it gets."
"Sex is not the answer. Sex is the question. 'Yes' is the answer."
and.......... the finale...
"Sacred cows make great hamburger." Twisted Evil

well probably a deep medium throaty metal sound.... rather than a raspy loud one... ahhh money wise... around 250... I have some people I know that can weld if it has to be pieced together seperately...

Nice looking 'maro. Not a huge fan of the wheels but at least they're not spokes. Smile

Thanks for the welcome.... yeah I'm not too sure of the wheels myself I like them to a certain extent but I think what would look good would be some of the bottleneck american racing or some stock 5 spoke chrome corvette wheels. not real sure though... yeah its black and I'm beginning to think thats a color thats crazy hard to keep clean....

I have the Hooker super comp cat back (3" I pipe, 2.5" out - part #HOK-16825HKR from summit) on my 95. It has a nice (albeit fairly quiet) rumble at idle and it barks pretty good when you stand on it.

Thanks, I still owe on the car so I cant trade it off... plus I think I might be having some clutch issues with the car... but I do like the body style of the 2001 especially the headlights... I'll have to check into that exhaust setup and see what it will run me ....
