|

EDIT*************
i was talking to Bobby (sellmanB) today. if everything goes as planned we will be hauling his berlinetta to chris' house on monday. before cows we will be hauling his 84 camaro to the junkyard/steel scrapyard. if anyone needs anything let me know. most stuff you could probably have for realy cheap. bobby also has a shortblock 350 (block and rotating assembly) and a bare block 350 you can have for realy realy cheap and or free.
just so you don't miss this, the following stuff you can have for CHEAP or FREE:
from bobby's garage:
SBC 350 short block
SBC 350 bare block
blown sbc 305 (boat anchor?)
some 91-92 GFX
while i know he would gladly accept money for this stuff the only thing he realy wants any money for are the 16" IROC single vane wheels. i don't know how much he wants but i would be happy to pass on offers, the rest just needs to go. i will be happy to hold on to smaller parts and deliver at cows. if it's a larger part (engine) i can hang on to those as well but delivery anywhere outside portland metro will be your responsablility.
from chris' 84:
doors
windows
windshield
hatch
headlights
taillights
side markers
rear end (probably would want $)
IF no one takes/claims this stuff it WILL go to the junkyard. except the wheels, if no one buys those i will.
i will be checking back on this post regularly and writing down a "shopping list" of sorts, if you need to contact me with specifics i can be reached by phone pretty much anytime. 971 64S 9359 _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

this is a camaro. also, the junkyard must still want it when we are done. i do have a sawzall. what do you need exactly? anything we can cut off will be different. rear quarters are NOT the same as a firebird. the sailpannel lines are a bit different, i like the camaro ones better. floorpans are the same, is that what you are looking for?
i might have to charge you labor on somthing like that |

| If you get in there with a sawzall I would like the floor behind the rear seat. From the rear seat to the well and between the wheel wells. Let me know what you would want for your time if your interested. |

things may have just changed alot. chris has expressed interest in the WHOLE car. in which case we could take a sawzall to his 84...
it would realy depend on how long it will take. a rear quarter for example could be done in twenty minutes. that would be like $7-10 each. but the rear floor and well area could take like an hour... and of course this dough would be split between myself and the owner of the car.
i am thinking if we start hacking these things up to bad that the steel recycling place might be a better solution for a dumping ground. |

chris is taking the berlinetta.
now up for parting out is one 84 black camaro hardtop. all body pannals are dent free except the doors. the intirior is spoken for COMPLETLY. the z28 hood is spoken for, the z28 wheels are spoken for. the base hood from the berli is for sale. it will go in the berlinetta which has almost no intirior. anything suspension/chasis/drivetrain is up for sale.
there is also a longer timelimit on this one. we want to take it to the scrapyard by cows.
BTW all the engines and stuff are still for sale. i will edit the primary post. |

Talked to Bobby myself when I heard about this.
I'm buying his berlinetta as a whole from him.
There is good news.........
My 84 Black Camaro is getting parted out. Will probably ask for Small amounts for various parts to cover the cost of buying Bobby's car. I don't care about making a profit.
I will respect all previous parts requests off bobby's Berlinetta wherever possible.
Let me know what you guys need. _________________

they are still available. only the body pannals have changed. they will now come of an 84 base camaro instead of a berlinetta. |

| i need the passenger floor pan behind the front seat back to front of the rear seat. if you look at where the ttop would be, on the back outerside of the ttop is where my car was apparently leaking and there is a hole in the floor pan right under. |

if you can take a picture of the floor in any thirdgen and use paint or somthing to draw a line where you want us to cut that would be great.
and rodney if i could you to do the same.
in the case of floorpans i would rather err on the side of cutting out too much then not enough, but in this case they could overlap. Rodney how far forward do you need? Fartian (did i spell that right?) how far back do you need?
the way i think it is now is like this. Fartian needs from like the middle on the passanger front seat. from door sill lip (i would cut at the weald point) to the tranny tunnel (you don't need any of the tranny tunnel do you?) all the way back to the middle of the rear seat. (probably the middle of the "well" that the persons but would be in if there was no seat)
Rodney needs from the middle of the rear seats (where we leave off from above) all the way accross the car, all the way back to the well (including the well itself or not. a picture would be very helpful) including the interionr fenders (or did you mean up too the rear fenders?)
wow. we are going to have to pull the fuel tank mounting rails off to get that piece out the junkyard is deffinatly NOT going to want this car.
any one else need body pannls? want a hardtop roof? hmm... actualy i might take the roof. make a targa top for my V6 add that to some crappy t-tops from the junkyard and i am gold |

Tony,
Even if the JY doesn't want it when were done cutting it up, we can take to the same place I took that Brown Toyota, Pacific Car Crushing. All they do is give you the price in scrap steel. with that 2.8 in it, it might still be worth about $40 in scrap. _________________

I can give you the insulation for my headliner, my wiper motor and a set of sunvisors. The wiper motor has delay.
Send me or Xophertony a PM and let us know if there's anything else you want. _________________

Tony, I am looking to fix an hole that a previous owner cut to get at the fuel pump. Looks like he used a chainsaw. Just the flat piece of floor behind the rear seats and stop at the well. Don't need the well. And just as wide as you can get between the wheel wells. Should be a flat piece when all is said and done about 2x3 foot. I'll try and dig up a picture tonight. If you have a grinder get a cut off wheel and you could do this real easy with the gas tank in if your carefull about the depth of your cut. I don't need any particular size and the cuts don't have to be straight, I will cut it down to the right size later. Don't torch cut it or it will be warped pretty bad. If you guys don't want to mess with it that's fine too.
Thanks |
