I'm looking at basically a stock GM HEI distributor for the 85 Z/28.
I know since I've removed the orginal distributor and ECM that I won't have a working Tach. I don't really want to have to get an aftermarket Tach (I'd like to keep the interior as "stock" looking as possible) Anyone know what I'll have to do to get the orginal one working again with the new distributor/coil? _________________

| I've got a 1968 points type distributor with a pertronix conversion in my 87.. and the original tach still works. I had an accell standalone.. and the original tach still worked. just used the original wiring. |

Thanks guys........
I was also looking at my stock distributor cap/coil (which I could potentially use with a new distributor base) and it plugs right in. If the new cap/coil won't work, I know the old one will. and its still in pretty good shape. _________________
