fired my AK-47 for the first time
DAM it was fun, blew thru about 400 rounds in short order
40 round mags go quick, as does a 75 round drum
but it was fun
the sheriff that showed up was cool too, he had received a report of a house being shot at, none were in sight & he even said so himself, we bs;ed for a bit as he ran my our names & then left us to blow thru my 75 rounds drum
left me say it was fun, fired my Glock 22 & 23, as well as mky mossberg 500 a few times

the Ak gets dang hot quickly, burned part of my jacket just touching it

Happy b-day dude! Sounds like ya had lots of fun. I cant waite to go shooting again, i miss shootin my Colt .45!
