April 9th works for me, as long as i don't have to work at 5am on the 10th, i will check on that.

so what are the rules on modifications done between now and then?

Ok my suggestions for the rules

1. You can do any modifications you want between now and April 9th except they must be done by yourself no shops and no trips to B's.(advice may be given by anyone although)

2. Best 2 out of 3 times Of the night wins.

3. No adjustments after the tech inspection. So no swapping of chips no adjustments of the suspension you run what you have brought.

4. Looser pays the winner that night

5. If a major component fails for either driver before three runs have been made bet is suspended until that component can be fixed. (Major components are Engine hard parts i.e. cranks, block, pistons, rods, heads, intake, etc. Transmission, Differential, Driveline, Axles)

6. You must run street tires.

Those are some of the ground rules i want.

ok, i agree with most of those,

on #1, i have had the LCA brackets by cheezy in the works for months now, he is finaly done, if brandon is willing i would like ot get them installed. if you insist on the no shops or going to the SSS, then i am going to change add to it.

The car cannot be modified beyond the condition it sits in TODAY 2/17. tune ups, tuning, carb ajustments ect are allowed, but the actualy parts combintions and suspensions on the cars must remain as is. including rebuilds of exesting components. the rules you set out were specificly designed to limit the 2 mods you know i have in my back pocket, i'm going to call you on it, i know what you have up your sleve, and i want to make it fair. if you plan to make the rules so that i cannot follow through on plans i have, you need to honor that and not follow through on yours.

Also, the race, is it going to be a heads up, first to the finish line, or are we going to race and compare ET's, or trap speeds or what.

LOL - It is a new board Jon. We started over and now it is hosted. Speed and reliability have made us all very happy. So we all started over again - no one 'deleted' your name. Anyway, I don't have such powers to change the 'New Member'. I am just a lowly moderator with a back porch. Jess and Joe are the admins. They could hook you up I am sure Wink

Let's get back to the rumble...

You have a little bit of a late start.

Ok john if you get your LCA relocation brackets you can have them installed but to your cut-outs no. You can get help welding on your LCA relocation brackets.

The Only mod that I'm going to do is up grading the exhaust from stock that is if I get enough money. Other wise I’ll be completely stock except for the rear end.

I mean John you know exactly what I have and you have done some sort of mystery mod that I have to beat.

I'm just trying to keep it as fair as possible you have a parts wharehouse that you can tap in to if you get motovated and I dont have anything i just hope that i can pay rent next month.

So LCARB only no cut-outs

what if i "install" the cut-out myself?

i only need a flange welded on the cut-out which is done out of the car. how is that any diffrent from you buying exaust?

if you are modding, then i am modding, that is the only thing that seems fair to me. :shrugs:

Hey man, you guys aren't gonna see much from a cutout anyway.

I mean I gained only 12 horse and you saw the ponies I was putting out on my stock intermediate pipe!

Bart's just afraid he wont be able to hear when to shift if his tach breaks Laughing

Dewey, you are using my old Flowmaster exhaust aren't you? A cutout won't really help and may even hurt your average power production. You have a great exhaust right now. Cool
