Since my engine swap, I have pretty much got all the bugs ironed out. The only thing giving me troublr now is that pesky EGR diagnostic code (32) from the ECM. Almost everything in the emissions loop is new, exhaust inspected and has no leaks. That leaves something electrical or possibly a vacuum leak that I can't find. Vacuum is a strong possibility since hard acceleration is a little rough. EGR sets only when slowing down and in gear (foot off clutch), or downhill and and foot off gas and in gear, or brake before using the clutch....always when slowing.
A couple of weeks ago, I replaced the EGR connector. GM in thier infinite wisdom, decided to make all four wires on it white, so the possibility of getting two of the solenoid grounds crossed is there. I'll have to find an old connector in a junkyard to be sure, or find a diagram which shows which color wire enables the ground to which solenoid.
I found this for troubleshooting digital EGR valves, also put it in a previous post, good info, but I still haven't found my answer.
