i was scanning the picutre ga;llery and saw pics form ocean shores and i really wanna go to ocean shores i used to go all the time as a kid and i havent been in ike 6 years and really wanna go so id like to see about gettign a group together and going in the spring

sounds cool to me. we could all go for a beach cruise. start out in portland. down 26 to the coast. up and down the 101 a bit. back up 26, dinner at camp 18 (awsomest restruant ever) and back to portland for drinking and darts Very Happy

unless "ocean shores" refers to a specific place and not just the beach. then we could go there.. or whatever.

Yeah, ocean shores is a specific place. A bout an hour and a half from where I am depending on how many cars I pass.

Real nice over there, not much to do. But then again I've only been there during the day once or twice and never while it was sunny.

Steve and I drove his old 280z on the beach past those "do not drive here" signs and ended up getting the rear end stuck in a big ass slew (sp?) We needed some bigass dodge truck to come yank us out.

i once had my jeep charokee stuck in sand trying to get out of a legal drive area. once we dug all the sand away and got back onto hard pack i punched it up to like 35+ in four wheel high and FLEW over the soft stuff. at one point i had three wheels in the air, or at least so say my passangers, all of whome were waiting outside the jeep for weight reduction purposes. Very Happy

My car should be up for a road trip by then (thanks Ian and Tony). If I'm not on a business trip (two tentative this spring), I'm in. It will give me a chance to meet more of the crew.

ytes ocean shores is a real place her ein washington its about 2.5 hours from here we should all meet up there on like a saturday and hang out for the weekend
