The more I look at pictures of my car with the headlight doors in the closed position I can't decided whether I should revert back to stock lighting setup or not.
I've got quite a few ideas floating around in my head as far as the exterior goes.
1. Keep the 91-92 look and stick with the hella projectors. Finish up the bracketry, 'glass a cover and call it good.
2. Keep the 91-92 look and revert back to stock lighting, sell off the 90mm's and get an HID setup
3. Change the bumpers/gfx to the 85-90 style TA's and keep the hella lights
Or even still I could keep the 91-92 front bumper and stick the 85-90 side/rear gfx on.
Picture for reference...

there was a guy on tgo about a year ago who had a red 91 vert which he put on the 85-90 style gfxs on and it looked good. always been a fan of that style, plus unique.
dont think putting the side 85-90 gfxs on w/ your stock nose would look good, all or nothing!

dont know enough about the lighting to help you out there. i remember seeing your post about the lights you put in though, pretty cool idea. gonna have to look into that.

Yeah, I think I remember seeing that. He swapped everything over, right? I kinda like the look of that front end. Seeing a few at the dyno gathering put the seed in.
No, what'd the PM say? |

perhaps fab a cover for the hellas with clay and paint it . if you hate it go back to stock.
why can't you keep them in the foglight holes? |

| I'd go with the first option. The 90's body style in a vert is rare, and the lights are a completely unique thing. I'd say stick with it. |

| I like the stock pop-ups myself. Afterall they're only open at night, the rest of the time the cars nice and smooth. If you're just lookin for brighter lights there are a couple other options. My car had the worst headlights ever, then I put BriteLights in it and they're fine. Get everybody flashing their lights at me now. If you have motor problems JB weld worked wonders on mine.. Been in there 4 or 5 years now. Where those plastic gears go that strip out... I just filled em up with epoxy. |
