Sounds like friday is likely the best night, for the most people.

Lets go with Friday, say 6:30ish (I probably won't be there until closer to 7.)

If anyone has a great idea of a fun place to go...let us know!

i can't think of any great pizza places out in the western suburbs (hillsboro/beaverton/aloha). maybe pizzacato. or schmiza. but schmizza is not realy suited for larger gatherings. and pizzacato is not great, just ok. probably a lot of better ones more into the "Portland" area. but i am not realy familiar with that side of town.

John.....Flying Pie Pizza, 78th and Stark st.

They have a big room downstairs that seats about 35-40ish, we can reserve it if you call a day or two in advance. They're kind of in the middle of portland, and a short drive off I-205/I-84 for those coming from vancouver, Gresham, or Beaverton/Hillsboro..just a thought.

Have we decided for sure on Fri?

you can reach them @ 503-254-2016

i don't think we are going to have nearly that many. it's looking like about 7-15 people.

calling and making arangements (atleast to push a few tables together) is definatly a good idea.

flying pie pizza sounds good to me. close to the freeway is good. perhaps after we have all had some digestion time we could all go for a mini-cruise up the freeway Smile that would be quite a sight, 15 fbodys in a convoy.

back to the topic at hand.

Anyone want to make a phone call today and pick a place for us to meet? I am not going to have time to call any places today. If someone wants to take charge, and make us reservations, just do it, and tell us where to meet.

ok, i did it. we have reservasions @ 6:30 pm. i made the reservation for 10, even though i only have 6 confirmed so far.. i told him 6 to 10, he said ten so... yeah.

they said that that time of night it is going to be an hour wait for our food if we do not order in advance. that seems cool with me, since the main point is to get together and talk, not eat pizza and leave. however he said we can call in and place our order in advance.

the adress so we can mapquest it is
7804 SE Stark, Portland OR 97215-2340
or visit them online @ http://www.flying-pie.com/maps.htm
or call for directions 503-254-2016

also, if anyone coming from the western suburbs (hillsboro, beaverton, aloha, tigard, whatever) needs a ride, my firebird does technically have four seats. just throw me a few bucks for gas. i can also be a DD as i am planning on eating ALOT of pizza and only having 1-2 drinks.
