nothing major. i am at a redlight on evergreen parkway in tannasbourne (hillsboro east, two lanes in both directions seperated by landscaped median, speed limit 45). a mustang pulls up next to me, it has type"R"acing sticker on the window and axtra guages on the dash. also has vinal graphics on the side. he is reving his engine and rolling forward in anticipation of a green light. it turns green. i stomp on it and blow him away for about half a block until the next signal, where i stop.
now in his deffense he was not "racing" me. just driving like an asshole. but i was giving him a show, now it's on and we both know it.
light turns green, his tires chirp, mine don't. i stay with him, right with him, for another half a block and then slam on the brakes and turn into my appartment complex. i relse that does not sound like i "shut him down" but i was keeping up with him at 3/4 throttle . his 5.0 is no match for my 5.7. it was fun. i was toying with him. i should have just destroyed him and then turned around...
anyway once i get gears in this thing i am SO going to PIR. all i need is a helmet, and a battery box. (my battery is not secured AT ALL, its loose )
*EDIT does PIR do drags or am i thinking woodburn?

Sounds like someone is having fun! For the track you need a helmet if you are running sub 14 sec and you will need a battery hold down (box will work but is more than required). You could probably find a factory hold down at the yards cheap.

4.6 liter.
Still not much better in their output numbers.
I just envy their stock exhaust. _________________

2V and 4V 4.6L SOHC and DOHC....known as the "modular block"
Introduced in the Mustang in 1996.
Everyone I know who knows modular blocks say that 4V's are the way to go. They can run with LS1's stock for stock. _________________

The 96-99's or so were not much more than the 5.0 for numbers, if I remember right. Not slow, but not as bad ass as the newer stangs, then we get into the cobras which is just, well.... _________________
