87 z28 350 auto
Well, the heater core in toast.
how hard is it to replace?

Also who around here does the custom chips?
I need on for my sons car. was a 305 now 350 with some upgrades.
Id like to get some one to do it that is local.

also now Iam starting to wonder if I have an exhaust leak into the water system to the block.
there isn't any water in the oil, but there seems to be an abundant amount of water coming through the bypass into the radiator.
thanks
Scott

I just replaced my heater core last weekend it was kinda a pain tearing the whole dash out and removing the center console, and droping the steering whell too. the only thing is lining up the new core through the holes in the fire wall. I bought my core at schmuck's cost 36 dallors after taxes.

My 87 formula wasnt too bad. I dont remember exactly how it came out but I remember there was 1 hidden screw you reach through part of the dash to get to. It's been a few years but I think it only took an hour or 2. I didnt have to remove the dash or anything. It does have air. So I'd think it would be the same as your 87z.
