#1 Question : does an 85Z with an LG4 have one?

#2 Question: If so where is it located?

#3 Question: How do I go about getting a "burned" one or making one myself?

Thanks for your help in this, as i am trying to improve on it's performance.

lg4 != performance. Razz

If the lg4 is the computer controlled carb like I'm thinking then it's got a prom.

It'd be located in the ecm in the dash behind where the "glovebox" would normally be on any other car. You can reach it by unscrewing the trim panel on the passanger floorboard and looking up at t silver looking box.

For burning, you can drive around with a laptop "datalogging" by hooking a cable up to your aldl connector and receiving info from your cars sensors and then adjusting and burning separate proms or you can just take it to a shop and have them dyno tune a chip for you. A buddy of mine went to Blood in auburn to dyno tune his TPI jeep grand wagoneer and it runs pretty good.

I'm using a prominator which I like so far, haven't had much time to mess with it yet though.

Check out: http://thirdgen.org/techbb2/showthread.php?s=&threadid=288763 for some basics and suggestions. on Do it yourself tuning.

Thanks Ian. I figure since the car is running good, might as well leave it alone.
