Since I moved I don't have three phase power available, so was looking for a new motor for my air compressor. A new motor was over $300, so I picked this up instead. Wink

Yeah, was totally amazed to get it for that price. It's a 2 stage and was dumfounded at the specs. 15.3 CFM at 175 PSI. WOW. I used auction sniper and had a cap of $500 for my bid. New these are around $1300.

Now I just have to drive to Hood River to get it in my 8 mpg pickup Sad Oh well................got a good compressor though. Should run anything I'll ever need while working on the "maro" and the 55. Not to mention the "69" wink:

Anyone want to buy a 60 gal air compressor with a 3 phase motor on it????? I don't really need it anymore Very Happy

If I could actualy use it I would.... Wink

I have to turn of ALL the lights in my house, to even run the compressor I have, and its only a 110v, I don't have 220v in the garage. Sad

Well I'm even older than Mike, so I need to compensate even more Very Happy Something about the size of our toys............

I needed to have something that would run my cut off tool continously, and my air angle grinder and air boards. Not to mention airing up the occasinal tire now and then. And you never know when I'll have to tear into a blue "maro" again Wink

Shoot, with the new HVLP spray guns out now, I may even try painting the 55 when (if) I get it done. Hmmmmm............maybe I should give it to Brandon to work on. He seems to have an endless supply of energy!!!!!

Well before I wired my old shop I ran a long line to my dryer outlet for 220 volts. 220 is much bettor for a compressor. That's kinda what I'm going to have to do here for this compressor.

hmmm was '69' a veiled reference to a previously unmentioned project or a veiled reference to an act that we don't want to know any more about?

Very Happy

It's still in the back of my pickup. I've been working so many hours I've not even had a chance to unload it yet. Had only one day off last week, and that was taken up with going to get the compressor. And.......not to mentions it's HEAVY!!!! I'll need help getting it into my storage room where I plan on putting it. So for now..............it sits waiting for my kids to come over and help. But at least I have it here now and am very pleased with my $265.66 purchase Very Happy

Now I'd like to find a large sandblasting/bead blasting cabinet for a nice cheap price like I did the compressor. I've got lots of 55 parts to clean!!!! Then there is the 69 to work on..............and no that's not some kind of weird position Mike Razz

Hmmm..............them huh?? And who might "them" be Pokey pokey

Actually I have one I made years ago, but it wasn't very efficient. I think I need to buy a commercially made pickup tube for it.

If only I had room for one in my little garage. Sad a medium sized cabnet doesn't look to be that expensive.

Well you also have to consider what kind of compessor you have to power the sandblaster when you make your sandblaster purchase. The rule of thumb I read was if your compressor runs more than 1/3 of the time the sandblaster is in operation, then your compressor is sized too small. This is one reason I got such a large CFM capacity compressor. And.........well..........the price was right also Very Happy

So.......I see you didn't answer who "them" are. Should I take this as a hint to "their" identity????

Well...........if I do get the sandblasting cabinet the person/persons will have to admit who they are to be able to use it. So "their" cover will be blown then Wink
