I picked up an '85 T/A for an engine swap. It started and ran fine at his place, but after being trailered (no tranny) to my place, it wouldn't start. Battery checks good, but there are no lights working and turning it to start does absolutely nothing.
I'm an idiot with electrical stuff. What should I check?

I would start with a volt-meter, see if what has voltage and what doesn't, it may be the battery cable that is bad, or any number of electical possibilities.
