I talked to Steve again today.
Everything is set APRIL 16th.
So everyone mark that down, and get your cars ready, time off work, etc.
Price will be $65 for 3 pulls. The Dyno will be held at 9:30am on Saturday at:
McGee's Auto
5717 SW Jean Road
Lake Oswego, OR
I will be taking that Friday, and the Monday after off work, So people can start show up as early as Thursday evening if they would like. Location of dinner on Friday is yet to be determined (We are open to suggestions). If anyone needs anything, feel free to e-mail me, catch me on MSN, AOL, ICQ, Yahoo, etc (This info is on my Profile). I can also be reached on the phone at (503) 961-2879. There is plenty of room for people to stay with local people. If you are wanting to get a Hotel/Motel room, feel free to contact me, I can give you a list of local places that would be close to all the activities. If you are planning on arriving at a time other than dinner on friday, again, contact me, I can give you directions to my house, or arange to meet you somewhere.
Also, come prepared to go to the drag strip. Weather permitting, PIR is open for the late night street legals, on both Friday night, and Saturday night.
Feel free to contact me with an question, comments, or concerns (I may not care, but feel free to try )
And everyone remeber:
Dyno 2002 - Most cars turned out for any crew event, ever
Dyno 2003 - Most crewbies pulled over by the police, ever.
Dyno 2004 - Most Thirdgens put on the dyno by the crew, ever.
I would really like to see 2 of those records beat this year! _________________

It's 65 for three runs on the dyno. A dyno is a big wheel that you drive your car onto and hit the go pedal and the machine/wheel will tell you how much horsepower/torque you have. _________________

We try to keep our manors on the street to a dull roar man. It's not the Cannonball Run. We show up to the dyno, BS, watch cars, bench race... go get some grub somewhere then Saturday Night weather permitting we'll go hit the local drag strip. |

PIR late night/street legal drags that weekend are $8 to watch, $20 to race. You get as many times down the track as time allows, probably 4 to 6 I'd guess (depending on turnout mainly). 103Db limit before 10PM, 90Db after 10. You must have battery tie-downs, coolant overflow, overall safe vehicle of course. |

Kelly, it's actually $30 for your first time. You pay an annual fee of $10 which gets you all registered, so if you go back you get the same number all year. It's $20 everytime after the first |

Well, we have pretty much identical cars so I can say for sure that you already have a coolant overflow tank setup (unless you or a previous owner removed it for some reason). It's the large white plastic tank on the front-left side of the engine as you look into the engine bay.
I think battery tie-downs are fairly cheap, but my car had one when I bought it so I'm not sure exactly how much or where to get it. The neighborhood car parts store probably has them in a size that would fit your application. |

double check your battery first. try lifting it up. the factory hold downs attach toward the base of the battery. if you have one of those you are good to go.
