I hope so. But i've been fooled before. I think I changed the plugs last time because of this same problem though. So either they foul very quickly, its coincidence, or next time I drive it it'll be messed up again. Time will tell.

The one plug was very fouled. But i've never had a fouled plug cause the crossfiring jerk feeling before. Usually that just shorts out and makes a miss.

The other thing it might have been. I changed the primary coil connector. The retaining clip had broken off. So it's possible vibration was causing an intermittant connection. Or perhaps it was the tach. It was working intermittantly then died on that one trip, so I swapped in my spare when I took out the indiglo's.

I changed all 3 things at the same time.

Run just fine to Tacoma and back today. In fact it pulled down nearly 24mpg! 23.87 to be exact. Smile

Aaron thinks it was the coil connector I replaced. I'm thinking that or the tach myself. Never seen a fouled plug act the way it did. Usually just kills a cylinder. But it does show I have another issue coming up.

Who knows anything about the cheap aluminum heads that are out now? Looking at either NKB or Procomp. 190cc and hopefully they make them in 58cc chamber....
