I am looking to pick up a pair of speakers for the 'Yota. The crappy parts-store Duals that the previous owner put in there are hot garbage and are driving me nuts.

I am looking for recommendations on a decent pair of 6.5" coax speakers with a shallow magnet and their own grill. They will be door-mounted so no chance for a box or anything. I suppose I could go comp (the doors are set up for a tweeter already) but meh work.

I have no room in the cab for a proper amp (and I really don't care anyway) so I'll just be driving them with the Pioneer deck.

If somebody has something on the shelf that will work I'd gladly buy it off you, otherwise I'll take any recommendations for what would work.

Budget is $60-$100~ish.

I put the like $50 carshmos pioneers in the swift. Decent. Stay two way to get better power usage.

Keep it low power rating and cheap if not using an amp.

Kinda same as Paul. Bought cheap Sony's at walmart. I've got an amp and putting some juice to them. They sounded allright, but my music taste and power levels have hurt one of em. They're well within your price range too.
