Last weekend, I spent about half of my tax return on parts from 3 places. The big purchase came Thursday, I passed the UPS truck on my street just after he made the delivery. Sitting on the front porch was a box from Ground Control. The day before, was a box from Summit with extended ball joints. I'm still waiting for a package from Founders with Lower Control Arms, Panhard Bar and Relocation Brackets - I checked status tonight, and the site says "Waiting Fulfillment."

My package from Ground Control...

Compared to my old stock RS springs

850/200. I didn't actually know until I looked at the invoice. Choices were "Street," "Aggressive" and "Race." I chose Aggressive.

awesome!! Very Happy

I'm getting some new springs and other suspension parts with my tax return too. I'm taking the car in and having the shop go over everything. I'm pretty exciting to be getting my car back on the road on a regular basis.

Next weekend i'm getting the windows tinted and a full detail.
When the weather gets better, i'll be putting up a garage so i can get my car out of storage and actually have it at my house!

The rest of my order came today. Now for a decent weather weekend to get the car lowered.

After Gabe's experience with Koni those may become the go-to brand.

Got the weight jacks installed today, as well as new ball joints. Still need to install the panhard bar, lower control arms and relocation brackets. A little tricky to put the fronts in because they want to move around until the A-arm is in position, and still there's not much tension on them until the car is on the ground. The rears were a snap to put in, but the same goes for spring tension with the car off the ground. I got a little lower in the front than I intended and not quite enough in the rear, both problems easily fixed, but not today.

I got the height fixed up front. The passenger side spring kind of came apart during adjustment (nut came off the top plate that holds adjusting rod) and the top plate fell down beside the spring. I didn't notice for a couple of hours and had to jack the car, lower the A-arm, remove the spring to fix it and reinstall while the rain came down. Now all done and stance where I like, not quite as low as John and Skyler.

At the rear, I have my relocation brackets and LS1 brake brackets welded together as one piece. The bolt to the axle using the same bolt holes. I got the bolt in brackets so I can move them to a different axle when and if I get rid of this 10 bolt.

My relocation and brake brackets as one piece.

And a shot of the passenger side bracket. The only part of the brake bracket that remains is what's visible.
