I won't be able to pick it up until Saturday, but James stopped by the paint shop and took a few pics for me. I can't wait to go get it!

You guys...
That is as "put together" as that car will ever be.
Just getting some paint on it was a veritable miracle.
Silver looks better than the proposed white, but still a light color to hide the waves.
You really should have bought my rims, now you need to paint those. |

Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed.
I think John is doing a pretty good job with that car. All the rust is fixed, it's all one color, he made it look the way he likes and it has a real exhaust on it now. There's no reason to be so vitriolic. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

So serious, Gabe. It wouldn't be right for me to go too long here without making fun of someone named John.
Like I said, the silver looks good, I'm glad it was chosen over the white. |

I guess it's hard to tell when someone is joking over the internet.
The silver looks great, I can't wait to see it in person. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

Took it to Maaco in Tacoma. They have painted three of my Camaros and James' as well. They do a decent job. It is a driver so it wouldn't be prudent to get an expensive paint job. $1000 was more than I wanted to spend anyway, but there was a lot of body work that needed to be done. |

Here it is when I rescued it from the original owner's yard after sitting for 8+ years with less than 45k original miles.
And here it is when I put a battery in it, fired it up, added some new gas and drove it home after all that time sitting! I had my TTIIs on it because the original tires were entirely dry-rotted and I didn't trust them on the freeway.
