Crew,
As of this weekend I will be parting out my 86 firebird.

The car has 240,000 miles on it.

Drivetrain
The 2.8L V6 engine runs poorly. gone
The rear end (3.42:1? open differential w/drum brakes) works great.
The T-5 transmission works great. gone
Spec Clutch and pressure plate. Less than 20,000 miles. gone

Body
The body is beat to hell. Almost every panel has damage. the windshield is cracked pretty bad.
The doors are in good shape. Manual windows and locks. Driver side manual mirror is broken and has been JBwelded into a fixed position.
The rear hatch needs paint work but is in good shape. It's a 91-92 hatch with the fiberglass whale tail spoiler. The glass is tinted, and the tint has some scuffs. sale of rear decklid support bracket pending. decklid and glass still available
Glass T-Tops
$10 - A/C delete box.
Crash bar

Chasis/Suspension
$10 - IROC lower steering brace "Wonderbar".
34MM / 24MM sway bars.
Steering is all Moog stuff, but it also has nearly 100,000 miles on it. sale pending

Brakes
Aluminum brake drums! less than 5,000 miles on freshly turned.
Shoes have less 5,000
Front pads and rotors have less than 5,000 miles on them.

Interior
Door panels are two tone grey centers with black vinyl outsides.
$45 Front seats are from a 2002+ sunbird/Malibu. They are grey tweed and SUPER comfortable.
Rear seats are two tone grey tweed and black. They are from a later 3rd gen Camaro, and are split rear folding. I'll include these with the front seats.
Interior plastics are all black and in decent shape except the stuff from the rear cargo area, which is worn.
$60 - Hard cargo lid - I have a black cargo cover, the folding plastic kind. This is the later style that is meant to fit around a PPDU.
$10 - Black carpet is in decent shape.
Headliner board is good, but needs to be recovered. trashed, oops
$50 - 4th gen center console with 5 speed pattern printed on it. The console is not new, it has signs of wear. it's charcoal and unless you are building a show car it should be a nice addition to your interior.

Other
I have an Edlebrock carb/TBI strut tower bar.

Parts I am keeping:
Steering column
Dash and gauges
Lower "ram air" passanger cabin venting system.
cabin heater only box.[/b]

How much do you want for the strut tower brace?

It sells new for $130, I would be happy to get $75 for it, but I can be flexible.

Here are the instillation instructions. http://www.jegs.com/InstallationInstructions/300/350/350-5227.pdf

It has FOUR cup holders. It's the later one, 98+. most of the damage you see in the photos is between the seats and caused by the seat belts. there is some damage along the back that rear passengers would see. There is also a scuff right next to the shifter hole. That is the only damage I notice when driving.

I do not have a shifter boot for it. I am also missing the ash tray insert and cargo insert for the front, but a 3rd gen door switch panel covers that nicely.

They are glued together. I have one in my GTA if you would like to inspect it. Iansane once mentioned he had some extra ones that were separate, I don't know if he still does. The one in my GTA is broken. Sad

EDIT*
here is a link to buy a new ash tray insert. http://www.moderndaymuscle.com/inc/sdetail/181/313
I checked, they do not have the shifter boots or the trim rings.

Chris,
When I said "I have an Edlebrock carb/TBI strut tower bar. "
I meant that my item is an Edelbrack brand strut tower bar for TBI/Carbed engines. Sorry for the communication.

FWIW the commonly accepted idea that the third and fourth gen clutch pedals are exclusive is utter nonsense.

You can use either pedal with either master cylinder with simple modifications to the bushing and clip.

The only choice to be made is whether you want the pedals close (thirdgen) or spread out (fourth).

So if you like the feel of a thirdgen pedal you should give Tony your money. Cool

I can confirm that thirdgen pedals work fine with a stock '02 T56 master cylinder with a $2 bushing I found in a kit in the "Help!" aisle at O'reilly's and a brake pedal metal e-clip to retain the rod and bushing.

I also have a set of fourth gen pedals for sale if you are interested, as well as a fourthgen hydro setup (master and braided line with quickconnect) for the internal TO bearing. I'd let the whole shebang of hydros and pedals with all sensors go for $150 or so.

I am of the opinion that every clutch pedal should have one of these. GM sells them new for less than 5$ for a bag of five. Both of my cars run them on the clutch pedal, and I have assisted other thirdgen owners on the side of the road with a spare their plastic clip gives up the ghost. Don't use the plastic clip.
