The other mechanic in our shop quit last week to go back to working on boats. We've had an ad out for couple weeks now and not a single applicant has applied.

Here's the ad from the local paper.

AUTO TECHNICIAN NEEDED: Full time position, pay depending on experience, willing to train, prefer own tools. Apply at Moore Auto, 305 E. SR 4, Cathlamet.

Job is in Cathlamet. Things can be slow in the winter but business has been picking up a bit this year.

Anyway, thought i'd throw this out there.

Lol.. no.. literally he swept the floor and watched me work. He helped a bit on a boat motor swap. I found later he broke 2 hose clamps getting them off somehow.. probably dodged a bullet there. Still no help. I think we have one guy applying since.

So we finally hired someone else, and the cops tried to haul him away at lunch! Laughing He was sitting in his car eating lunch when our neighbors house alarm went off.. 2 cop cars came flying in. Took him out of his car and had him leaning up on it while they checked him out.

This is what you get for working in a small town. Razz

All kidding aside I'm actually in the same boat as you are, B. We fired the last kid Monday for missing two days and then showing up stoned out of his mind, so I've been working by myself since Saturday. Sad
