It is an absolutely beautiful car, however, it may actually be too pristine for the average Crewbie. Meaning, many of us are DIYers who would rather buy a $400 car (referring to myself at this point) and build it over time (on a shoe string budget.)

I'm sure the right buyer will come along. That car sells itself! Cool

As I mentioned, I would let the car go for 5800.00 to a Crew Member. That is far less than what I have in it.

Beautiful car. Me coming up with that much cash is not possible. But if you needed a kitchen Reebok or something I could trade you my labor. Just throwing it out there

A buyer from Canadia is coming down to look at it tomorrow morning. Been rounding up the stock parts for the last couple of days, it didn't take much effort to clean it up. Forgot that the tach doesn't work.

Lol, Lisa is now starting to freak out. Bought the car in 2004 and she has put a grand total of 4K miles on it since. Now she is getting all emotional as a sale is imminent. I asked her to clean the glass tonight, she left streaks. I asked her to rub them out and she said no, if that's not good enough then don't sell it. Had the heart to heart with her in the garage a couple of minutes ago, she doesn't want to see it go. Don't blame her, but it doesn't get driven and it would be nice to have the room in the garage. Next on the chopping block is my car.

Yea, Lisa is already missing it but as I told her last night, 4K miles in 10 years doesn't justify keeping it.

Didn't get what I really wanted but got the going rate. It helped that it went to a really nice couple that demonstrated they will enjoy it.

Now I have a guy interested in my car and the pile of parts...having a much more difficult time establishing an asking price for it and the parts. The T-Ram with all of the peripherals, the 40K in parts I have bought for it over the last 20+ years ( some you just cant purchase new anymore), spare TF heads, cams, brand new HSR / fuel rails / injectors, couple of sets of SLP headers, factory louvers... It's going to hurt selling this stuff.

What the hell?!?! Even I don't have $40k wrapped up in my Firebird. What in the world do you have sitting there?

Then don't sell it. There is nothing wrong with letting a project sit until you're ready to play with it again. You can't get enough money out of it to do a different project. And any money you get will vaporize within a year and all the fun will be over and forgotten. Sometimes spent money is history and you're just better off just keeping what you have. That is the case with my Firebird, and it sounds like it is your case too.
