Jeez, seems oil burning is the #1 Crew problem of late! Laughing

Overrun leads me to think seals.

Is this on the BMW or is the turbo car up and about yet?

You can't just make a vague post like that without telling us what car it is. Last I remember your firebird was smoking a good bit on the dyno, did you rebuild it?

Haha lets all get our heads worked on at once. I put off doing the seals in lieu of a larger project on the car recently but I'm going to have to do them soon

Laughing This is on the bmw. Firebird goes to the tuner next week. And yeah, there was basically no pcv system causing massive oil consumption at WOT on the firebird. (At least that's what Steve suggested and a catch can alleviated).

Hrmm. I didn't even touch the seals when I slapped the JY head on. Sounds like I could try that. I have to do a cam swap, I can do the seals at the same time.

Who's doing the tune, Ian?

I guess this means I should start working on my car again. Laughing

Is this still a B27 or did you do an M50 or B25 swap?

M50nv swap. Craiglist motor. Dropped it in, had a ridiculously cracked head. Yanked one from a junkyard and had it pressure tested. I was tired of spending money on an e30 motor so I had no more work done to it, just popped it on.

SpeedSecrets in monroe. It'll just be mobile after that. Lots of clean up work and ducting to do.

That's a pretty good motor. I did a bit or work on a friend's E34 with one not long ago. I hear it's a real PITA to do cam work on them though.

Are you running HPTuners on the stock LM7 ECM?
