|
|
A friend of mine is looking to sell the engine out of his Suburban. It's a '91 L05, complete, runs good, rebuilt a few years back, has longtube truck headers on it currently.
It is still in the truck if you want to see/hear/drive it before we pull it. |

Hmm just total curiousity, how much is he looking to get for it? Replacing with something better? Or parting out the rig? _________________

700 behind it blew up and he's parting out.
He mentioned $600. Not sure how concrete that was or if it included the longtubes. |

Nice.. I might be interested for just the bottom end, but the more I think about it, the more I think I better just put together the block I already have. |

Hey guys, just a heads up: this is totally still available.
I finally got off my lazy ass, pulled this truck out of the weeds and got it fired up. It goes like hell and would make a great replacement for a 305. Rebuilt around 25K ago at Bud's in Lakewood. It is still in the truck with open headers so you can hear it run. The core support is gone so pulling it will be easy.
Asking $600 cash for the engine, $250 for the tri-Y headers with Y-pipe. No trades, not parting out.
Rest of the truck (4x4 Suburban) is being parted out as well, so let me know if you need any body parts (super-clean, no rust) or anything. |

The engine is sold. Both barn doors and the entire front clip are gone.
Basically I'm down to the bumpers, t-case, Rally rims and front doors. All the parts went fast, I'm surprised. |

True, but my Craigslist ad went up July 21st.
I didn't think anyone would buy parts for an OBS 'Burb except for the engine so with no bites on that we left it sitting in the tall grass for a couple years. If I would have known how many people were after parts for these things I would have done this years ago. |

Is there interior or anything? A friend just picked up a burban to do a 6bt swap. Not sure what all he might need. |

Depends on what he is after. Seats and all rear interior is gone. Dashpad is cracked. Gauges and column went to Gabe's truck.
Still have the seatbelts, doors with good panels, and some trim stuff. I also have a class five hitch dirt cheap if he wants to put that Cummins to work.
Feel free to just forward him my ad:

That's my for realz new phone number if anyone sees anything they want. |
