Manually shift your LO3/700R4 Grandma-mobile for some extra torque. |

If you could pick that up for $500 and throw a T5 and a decent rear axle in it for a couple hundred more you would have a pretty clean commuter dirt cheap. |

That setup in my '89 RS was really nice, when it ran properly. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Base model wing.
Was that to replace a screwed up aero-wing, or is this an unfinished clone? |

Who knows..
I still need a new wing. Is there anyway to get one cheaper than $399 bucks? _________________

I'd bet on a rearend wreck or smashed hatch glass and a lazy bodyshop.
If it had t-tops it would be my ideal thirdgen. |

Your mom is complete.
Fiveoformula - I have a 91-92 fiberglass wing that I will let go real cheap. Needs paint work. |

Good ol "your mom" jokes. Lol
Hmm I never considered going with 91-92 style wing. Im sure every hole would be different and id have to do something about the third brake light. Not sure if it would look right on an 88 car either. |

Wasn't that the stock '82ish T/A wing? I've seen several guys on the World Wide 3rdgen board on FB who have replaced their wrap around spoilers with these. |

If you mean this wing
Yes, it was used on T/As until 85 when the Aero package was introduced, then the wing was used until 92 on base model firebirds. I guess I have always thought of it as the "base model" wing, even though it started on Trans Ams. |
