I'd really like to find something within about 50 miles or so of Portland/Vancouver. I'll probably have to be borrowing a truck to go get the motor as it is anyways.
I've seen a few things on Craigslist that seem like they might be appealing.
I really don't want to have to dick with checking pushrod height and stabbing another cam in a motor, so I'm trying to stay away from rollers.
Arguably though, it might be better to have a roller with the way motor oils are now and cam lobes going flat. _________________

$1600 could build your short block and just throw some cheap vortecs or something like that on. |
