im pretty sure mine is toast, its reading backward, when u give it gas the voltage and % goes down instead of up
i also broke a screw in the throttle body taking it off....sweet
so i need a TPS, and i dont really wanna buy a new one _________________

Are you sure you are reading the correct pins? if you are measuring between the voltage source and signal instead of ground and signal you will get what you describe. |

TPS is just a varible resistor, if it is varing it is working..
does the volts and % go down and then back up?
if ur reading this AT the tps ur just on the wrong wires. thers are 3 wires::grnd , +5volt, varible out.
sounds like tps is ok.. |

He's datalogging, guys. He's seeing what the ECM sees, which is a high resistance spot at the bottom end of the sensor. |
