it has been in the past...if you have to take a car from one point to the other, like emissions, which is what i used to tell them. But since emissions is closed on Sunday, that might be tough.

Shrug

Who knows? Maybe?

Need to get this damned Monterey running first so I can put the piece of crap Chevy back in the shop so it can look ugly and be in my way and some more. Rolling Eyes

Just how many engines does a Monterey need per year?

Fourth engine in this car since December of 1962. That comes out to 0.083 engines per year. Wink

Yup yup

Don't know why the first one was even replaced. Could have been a runner for all I know. Was done by a previous owner. The next owner sure blew it up though. Laughing Then the 390 I put in it split the block somewhere in one of the high-pressure oil lines through the casting. Common problem on these motors, apparently. And now we're on #4.

Make that 3, I'm going to try and be there early too. I'll be sorting the V6, the 383 isn't ready for highway drives yet.

3rd gens are becoming the new "classics" and at least the early 4th gens are becoming the new ghetto-rigs. I see alot of those being driven around with busted up front ends.
