I ordered a set of 36lb gen 3 Bosch injectors from South Bay.

I wanted a new set but they were out of them. Guess I can apply the 200.00 savings towards replacing the intake to head gaskets that are leaking coolant as well as the leaking heater core.

On a side note, just replaced a broken transmission dipstick tube on my truck. I dont know how long its been broken but the only reason I found it is becuase the Allison transmission has been shifting strangely for the last week. Wonder what that would cost to have rebuilt and how the hell does a dipstick tube break?

Possibly, or it could have been when I stuffed the modern Subura Brat looking POS in the rear end while going 25 MPH. Im still pissed about that. The driver totally baited me into hitting her. She pulled away quickley onto HW9, went half way around the corner then stopped. She was blocking the lane that she was trying to enter, and my dumb a$$ assumed she entered traffic and stomped on the soot pedal. The only thing that makes me feel better about the whole incident is that I didnt let up on the soot pedal until I hit her rear bumper the second time. Her neck had to have been messed up along with the frame of her car.

Anyhow, I have had a bad car day. I spent 150.00 bucks on diff and transfer case fluid for my 03 duramax. The front diff and transfer case drain went fine, but when I pulled the magnetic plug on the rear diff it had what looked like part of a roll pin attached to it. I posted the pictures of it up here
http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=424581

I pulled the diff cover and didnt see anything missing / damaged.
I moved both IROC's out of the garage so I could change the fluids on my truck but finding the round pin stuck to the drain plug left my truck stationary.
I dont like leaving the IROC's outside becuase the HS age neighbor kids seem to bird dog them and several times our dailey drivers have been rummaged through in the middle of the night. We usually lock them but stuff happens and some times they are not. 3 times someone has gotten into them and taken watches, change, sunglasses and garage door openers.

Anyhow, my truck takes up alot more room in the garage so both cars are outside tonight.
I drove my car to O'Reileys to pick up a diff gasket for my truck ( Felpro didnt fit) and on the way home it started missing badley and the CEL came. Tried turning the scanner on but it quit working also.
My wife drove the vert today so the top was.down I tried to put the top up but the hatch release wouldnt work. Had to lay the rear seats down and use the dead battery emergency release cable to release the hard tonoue cover to put the top up.

Today sucked.

The injectors were at my door yesterday. If I get time this weekend I'll put them in.

When I ordered them I asked what the used injectors came out of. It took several questions to confirm, they come out of super charged Pontiac Bonnevilles.
