I found some lightly used LSx swap parts in Indianapolis so I am hitting the road tomorrow to pick them up.

Stainless Works long tube headers (SCORE!)
McLeod adjustable master cylinder
4th gen pedals
Skulte trans crossmember (ANOTHER SCORE!)
LSx swap mounts
Scatter proof T56 housing
Dual exhaust with Flowmaster single chambers

One step close to the Fire Chicken flying!

I'm not using the twin turbos. That's somewhere between $4.5 - $5K back in my pocket.

Besides, I don't have a death wish.

Speaking of which, I almost hit the car next to me today when the Camaro got squirrelly in 2nd gear. That would have been a fine one to explain to a cop.

I'd resell that mcloed master to another sucker and pick up a tick. Smile

A few weeks ago some dude was cruising down 405 in the far left lane doing 55. I followed for a good bit, flashed my lights once or twice. Never got the hint to get out of the way. Okay! Dropped a few gears and passed him a weeee bit sideways in the carpool lane. Embarassed My god it sounded so nice I didn't want to let off. Laughing

What's wrong with the McLeod? I don't have to buy it if I just know why.

The mcloed is "adjustable" in the same fashion you can make you factory one adjustable. The clevis was cut off and threaded so you can move the engagement height. You can do the same to your factory one and in the process cut the internal stopper height down to actually gain travel, but the bore is still the same diameter so you're only gaining a fraction of inch of travel.

The tick version is a larger diameter bore, along with the adjustable height clevis. I ran the factory one and wasn't getting enough disengagement, cut the internal stop down and made the rod adjustable and still wasn't getting proper disengagement. Put the tick one in and haven't had any issues since.

Haha, nice. What rear end do you have in yours?

I bought it anyway. I can always sell it for the price I got it.

Everything is in great shape! I'm pretty happy with finding this stuff. There's hardly even a scratch on anything.

There is nothing to that Skulte crossmember. It's light as a feather. I don't think I dare modify it for a remote mount torque arm.
