Guys,
I think the ECM in my car is dead. I thought I had one, but it may have fallen thru.
If anyone has an 89-up TBI ECM (8746) that they can part with, please let me know.

I don't have one John but have you priced it out at NAPA? My ECM for the tpi was < $80. Just a thought. You have to be ready for the dyno.
DOO IT.

Looks like Foster Auto Parts has one for your car for $55. That is about the cheapest I saw in a search through the wrecking yards. Most of those guys wanted $225 .

Hey Dewey, I have a ported TBI, flow matched injectors, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, a TBI power plate, and a TBI to carb intake adapter plate I am trying to part with if you are interested...all are from www.cfm-tech.com and have right at 500 miles on them. I decided to ditch the TBI in favor of a carb. _________________ 335 Stroker with TBI |

I'm broke as a joke right now.
Really the only thing I might be interested in, is the TBI unit/regulator/injectors.
Even then I doubt it, the TBI is going to get replaced with some form of port injections, when I go with the Supercharged 327. |

just the ecm or the prom also? i think the prom may be adding to the $225 cost. i drive a 90 rs 3.1L and i got an ecm and prom for a 93 berlinetta for 50 (the ecm is the same but the prom is different) _________________ 1990 Camaro RS, Black w/ Red Int, V6 3.1L, Auto, T-Tops. |
