I have a strip of 6 LEDs left over from my brake light mod. I'm trying ideas on where to use them. I can only split them int groups of 3, so pretty limited. I thought about under the center vents where the really dim light is, which hardly ever works. Split in half and do the door handles like the 92.

I taped them up under the center vents and hooked a 9V battery. Looks OK to me, and not distracting to me as a driver, but to pull the effect off, I think the whole dash should be done.

Kind of reminds me of a cop car. Very Happy

Is there room to mount them to the bottom side of the door to illuminate the ground when the doors open?

If the clearance is there between the door and GFX, that might be an idea for a 1-meter strip of white LEDs under each door. I suppose I'd hook them up to the door pin switch for the dome light. Now I've got to check for clearance, since I have new hinges, my doors don't rub on the GFX Laughing Cool

Could also do red on the back edge of the door, kind of like some of the higher end luxury cars Razz

above your crome tail pipes, under the trunk deck lighted when raised, above your fogs but hidden, under hood lighting. under your interior mirror, inside your outside mirrors. Just and idea for your romantic glow.

If you dont have the room on the bottom of the doors, recess them into the bottom of the arm rest. Trigger them with the door pins.

Looks like there is room on the bottom of the door, just inside the weatherstrip. I think the inner door handles will be done with what I have left, 3 LEDs in each wired with the gauges lights. There were quite a few nice ideas that I might look into, possibly for both cars Very Happy
