I couldnt get the graphs to pop up, but the text is still there.

I always suspected that oiled filters were a gimmick. Reminds me of an article on the web in the late 90's that tested oil filters. Fram came out on the bottom of every test. The author / guy that paid for the test was sued by Fram ( who buy the way is owned by Schucks / Checker / Orileys etc) and forced by court order to remove the site from the internet.

There are many fram oil filter tests on the web yet. Fram always fails. Their more expensive line does compare to everyone elses regular line though.

I thought Travis did this test himself years ago and found out the same thing.

I did. I tested the intake restriction of a stock paper filter and then emailed k&n and asked them how they could possibly do better. They said they couldn't. Their claim is that the k&n will flow better than a paper filter when you dump them both with the same amount of dirt. But why would you have a dirty filter? I'll never own one.

Good find though.
