Just as I thought I was done with the interior, I took more hit of the mod pipe…Thanks Lama dude & HUGE thanks to Schultzy!

I was fortunate enough to have a good bud hook me up with a set of GTA headrests	along with the reclining drivers seat track.

The track was in need of a face lift along with the headrests.

The headrests were mechanically sound, and just needed a face lift to black leather and some Bad-Azz memory foam added 2.5” and that made them a perfect fit!

I took them down to Jeff at AMA Interior Solutions, he did all the interior work.

The sweet thing is the stems are the same! The large boot just fools you, pull it up and low and behold it’s the identical stem!

Also I dumped the HUGE seat belt guides, Jeff made a cover plate that blends as though it was factory done.

The plastic was gray and the headrest was covered in gray cloth. In order to match the rest he dyed the gray plastic parts black,

and there was enough leather from the bolt that the seats were done from to cover the headrests for a perfect match!

Man I have to be cautious now…I can freaking about nod off with the comfort level.

Very Much Comfy...Yeees! oh that's from Star Wars...not ET, darn!

Thanks Tony! Dude you GTA guys have the setup for comfort man!

Brandon's ride is too, I remember seeing his headrests going WOW!

Those headrests made an amazing difference on the last cruise!

The last thing I have to is swap out my stock drivers seat track for the

GTA reclining track, it's manual...Perfect! _________________

You know, seeing the GTA seats I was never really sold on them. But having bought Mike's old beater seats, and sitting in them drinking (instead of working on my Camaro ) I am a newfound believer. They are really nice. |

Hey thanks again guys on the cool comments!

Keep in mind the seats are all my original 83's just new upholstery.

I did look at the GTA seats, but I had just redone all of mine, however the headrests were the BOMB!

The look took some getting used to for sure, however the comfort factor is just amazing!

Yesterday in traffic, I could careless, AC blowin ice, tunes up and all kicked back headrests doing the job for sure!

ET can phone home...just don't take the headrests!

I hope to switch out the stock drivers seat track and install the GTA reclining track, that should do it!

Pretty rough around the edges when I got it!

I used a fine wire wheel in my drill along with my dremel for the tight areas and cleaned it up good!

Self etching primer, I took it down to the metal.

Finish coat of satin black, ready for install!
