Just curious if anyone's played it yet, I loved the first one, but we know how far games have came from the ps2 era,

my biggest question on it is they say it's not like GTA where you run around and do what you want, so is it completely on rails minus driving around in missions? or did they just take out the whole doing 100 other side missions and between the main story you can mob around. (no pun intended)

Haven't played it yet, but it looks cool. Check youtube for game play videos.

Got it, played through the first few hours. Very much an old-school story-driven adventure game like the old one. It is on rails for the first bit, but later on you're given more free-roaming.

Basically if you liked the first one, buy it, because it's more of the same. If you liked GTA4 and Saints Row 2, and just want to shoot sh!t with the missile launcher, then keep moving, nothing to see here. Cool

I recently downloaded the expansions for GTA4 (Lost and the Damned & The Ballad of Gay Tony). They add alot to the game like base jumps and badass new weapons (like an auto shotgun with explosive shells which can take down helicopters!) If you like GTA4, I highly recommend the add-ons! Cool

Lost & Damned was pretty good. I liked the trope of dude being able to ride bikes better than Bellic, but transversely being a worse driver while in a car.

Never bought the Gay Tony add-on. I was on to Red Dead by that point anyhow. Laughing

Already own GTA 4, the expansions Lost and the Damned, and the whole Gay Tony deal. love it, i favor lost and the damned forsure. Gay tony had the best weapons i think tho.

Also loved saint's row, tho it was definitely a bit dated tho.

I will probely pick it up then, i was a bit nevous, cause GI gave it a 9 or so, and i've seen other reviews where they said it tanked, the open world thing is one thing i love about games, makes it more fun to run around and just mess stuff up between missions.

And since RDR was brought up, i will say i've lost myself in that game for many hours, by far my favorite open world game so far. love the ability to randomly get into bar fights and skin animal's isn't fun..plus the dead eye.. i don't even gotta say it lol.

This is a mod I will get if I ever get the PC version of GTA 4! The detail, including the interior, is awesome!

I'm using a computer from 2003, same with the monitor, and watching that video on youtube makes playing the game on my 360, and using an almost brand new Sony Z-series look like crap..

I don't play games on the computer, does doing so really make the game look at much better?

Five year old console technology < Cutting edge CPU and graphics card.

The PC versions of the older GTA games always looked way better than the PS2 versions.
