So tonight I made Jello... but being impatient as I am, I didn't want to way 4 hours for it to set up. I put it in the fridge for about an hour, but it wasn't even trying to set up. So... thinking I could enjoy my jello earlier, I put it in the freezer to "speed set" my Jello.

About an hour later I went back to see how it was doing and now not only is it Jello, but it's frozen, not solid but with ice crystals on top.

Any advise on un-freezing my Jello, please?

Sincerely,
really wants Jello.

You're obviously not a guy, because frozen jello would not stop a guy from eating it anyway.

This is where a well stocked shop comes in handy. And since you're a 3rd gen owner I know you have a bunch of tools to fix that unreliable beast. Go to your tool box and dig out the heat gun. If you don't have a heat gun then you just found a reason to buy one. Suddenly it's Christmas in July! Anyway.... Put it on the LOW setting. This is about 750F outlet temperature. Obviously, I do not recommend the HIGH setting which is typically around 1000F outlet temp. Sweep the heat gun across the frozen jello to defrost. It's actually best if you really do hurry it up and be impatient. Now you can skim off a layer of jello as fast as you can eat it.

Option #2 is to just buy ready-made jello at the store. But that's just too easy and obvious.

Who the *%@! still eats JELLO? Smack!

I agree with QwkBert, heat is the answer, but i think we need alot more than a measley 1000*f. I modded my BIC to make that much heat. We need a torch and a rosebud to heat this Jello up.

It's like baking a cake, 20 minutes at 400*?

%$#@ that, who has that kind of time.

4 minutes at 2000* and your golden! Cool
