Does anyone have the schematic for the rs232 circuit board? I found a few, but not enough info to make my own. My cable is not working and it's not the software/laptop. |

What software are you using? Can't you just use the 2 transistor one? it's so much easier than the max. |

Hey,
TY for the reply! I'm using Craig Moates software. How do you make the 2 transistor cable, if it will work with my 7730 ecm and the CM software?

The bottom lead on the left is your GROUND(terminal A) and the top lead is the DATA(terminal e) of the ALDL.
You'll need one 10k OHM resistor to jump from A to B on the ALDL.
What I did was put a switch half way up the cord for the 10kohm jumper... so I just plug in all 3 wires, flip the switch to jump the aldl.... start car... flip switch off.
Made 3 cables and you can fit all this under a D-Sub hood if you are good with a soldering iron and electrical tape |
