Actually at home, the tree in my neighbor's yard. One was in the treetop making all kinds of racket while the other was circling overhead. By the time I got my camera, the one had left and the remaining one was just taking flight. Pretty amazing shot with the DSLR and 300mm lens (35mm equivalent is 450mm). These were taken May 16th.

Up in the trees about 75 feet or more.

This the same eagle just taking flight from the tree

Make sure your pets are inside or you might witness a scene from the wild kingdom in your yard!

Cool pics.

Not as good as your pictures, but here is a nest I saw on a pole line road where I ride my dirt bike in Grapeview, not far from Bremerton.

My friend said there is another one that is bigger.

Those power line poles are huge, so that nest is actually pretty big!

Their nests (aeries) can be a couple hundred pounds and more than 6 feet in diameter.

We've got several large nests like that around here, but they're osprey nests. Huge birds, much bigger then an eagle. 2m wingspan! There's a huge nest on one bridge between cathlamet and skamokawa, another on the puget island bridge. The corps of engineers had to get a little creative to keep them from building their nests over the top of the channel markers too. They were blocking the blinking lights so ships couldnt use them to navigate.
