How much do you think my pickup weighs? It has a custom leather interior, that I'm sure adds a few pounds, and power steering. That's about it. I have no idea how much this thing weighs. Anybody wanna guess? _________________ '85 T/A: 305 LG4, 700R4, Edelbrock TES headers, Hooker catback, K&N filter

I'm with Demon..... even with that stuff you've got the short bed. Think it weighs a hair less than longbed. B will tell you since he has one with a long bed. |

I'll be a wierd guy here and guess 3800 and no more than 4000 even.
Now.. go weigh it and let us know what we win!
Also, for what it's worth my truck weighed 4,370 lbs stock according to 1979 brochure I have.

Thanks for the guesses guys. I'll go weigh it and the winner gets a ride in it. Sound good? _________________ '85 T/A: 305 LG4, 700R4, Edelbrock TES headers, Hooker catback, K&N filter

It'll definately be under 4000. I think at one time mine was only 3800.. amazing how much stereo, air bags, hitch and all that kind of stuff add up. Though you might have all that too! |
